Pairing and device access
Connect a device and understand what it is allowed to do.
Pair with your host
- Keep Lyre running on the computer and open its device-pairing controls.
- On the client, use the connection flow to scan the pairing code or enter the supplied connection details.
- Complete the host’s approval flow and select the intended project or shared app.
- Open the preview and try a simple interaction.
Pairing codes and connection credentials are private. Do not post them in screenshots, support threads, or a project repository.
Choose the appropriate access
| Access | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Owner | Manage the host and its approved projects and devices. |
| Developer | Work on explicitly approved projects using development tools. |
| User — shared apps only | Interact with an explicitly shared app without access to source, agents, terminals, or host settings. |
Connecting a device does not by itself grant developer access. Use the access options present in your installed build; check its release notes for sharing availability.
Remove access
Revoke a device or app grant from the host when testing is finished or a device is lost. Confirm that the old connection can no longer open the shared app. Removing a bookmark on the phone is not the same as revoking its credential on the host.
If a connection stops working after revocation, create a new approved connection instead of reusing the old code.
